The Ants face a totally different prospect than the Newmains team of last season which didn’t pick up a single point last season, having already picked up 14 points in their 11 games and last weeks 1-0 loss to Johnstone Burgh ending a run of 4 games without a defeat in which they beat Ashfield, Saltcoats and Ardeer and drew with Carluke. The Ants for their part have their own 4 game unbeaten run going at the moment with wins over Forth, Johnstone Burgh, Thorniewood and last weeks win away to Saltcoats, so it should be a cracker.
